Experience
Kate had worked as a full time fitness instructor and
personal trainer for two years before starting at Heavenly Bodies in 2009. After
being a gymnast and dancer in her teens she also decided to take up fitness pole
dancing and set up Pole and Shape.
Since having a baby in
May 2010, she fully
attributes pole dancing to getting her figure back:
"You will never do a workout
like it. For toning your arms and stomach, building up your fitness and upper
body strength...it is the best!"

Kate had a baby in May 2010 and fully attributes getting her figure back to
fitness pole dancing:
"After
having Lexi and recovering from the initial
sleepless nights and tiredness I was pretty eager to get back into
exercise. Once I'd had my initial 8 week check-up I started doing some
light exercise in the gym and the weight slowly started coming off. By
August (3 months after giving birth) I felt ready to get back on the
pole and really go for it!
It was at this point that I quickly
dropped the extra 14 pounds I was carrying. In the space of a couple of
months the extra weight had all gone and I could see my arms and stomach
toning up every day.

By Christmas I felt like I was in better shape
than I had ever been, I had a flatter stomach and my arms and bum were
more toned. I think the combination of determination to not be a frumpy
mum and wanting to get back in shape for my classes really paid off!
I would recommend fitness pole dancing to anyone who wants to get in shape."
